WELCOME TO BIG PINE MINOCQUA CABIN!

This is the Minocqua Cabin Rental you are searching for! Just minutes from Minocqua, Wisconsin this well maintained, and tastefully furnished log home features 3 bedrooms and 2½ baths with 160 feet of level, sandy beach frontage on Lake Shishebogama. Here you can enjoy the best the Northwoods has to offer. Where every comfort and amenity is taken care of, and the length of the day is not measured in hours but in memories. 

THE ARRIVAL

Big Pine is a secluded getaway yet so close to everything that once you reach the heart of Minocqua, you're just a short distance to our doorstep. We have a large circle driveway with plenty of parking. The full log home has been updated and improved under new ownership reflecting a desire to provide our guests with a special vacation cabin experience.

THE MAIN FAMILY LEVEL

  • The main level of the vacation home is where the guests will congregate. There’s a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher) and a breakfast bar and all the amenities for cooking delicious lakeside dinners.

  • The dining room leads to a screened-in porch where you can watch the sunrise, sip your morning coffee, read a book or enjoy a late afternoon cocktail overlooking the lake.

  • The large living room has a river rock hearth with wood burning stove , a large smart flat screen TV (with YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Max ), and plenty of windows to soak up the panorama of the lake and surrounding woods. A ½ bath and full laundry facilities complete the main floor. Most necessities are provided, including linens, blankets, pillows, towels, and initial paper products.

THE UPSTAIRS LEVEL

  • The upper level has three bedrooms and carpeting throughout. The cabin’s master bedroom overlooks the lake and has a queen-size bed, dresser, large closets and separate dressing area. It has a smart television with Netflix, Amazon and HBO Max.

  • The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, walk in closet, and overlooks Lake Shishebogama.

  • The cozy third bedroom built-in single beds with XL mattresses great for children or adults and plenty of closet space.

  • The upstairs bath was completely renovated in 2022 with a all glass tiled shower.

THE LOWER WALK-OUT LEVEL

  • The rental cabin’s lower level has a set of bunk beds and a sitting area with a trundle bed.

  • A full bathroom with a spacious walk-in natural stone shower and vanity is perfect for after-lake clean-ups. This bathroom shower was completely renovated in 2022.

  • This level leads directly to a covered cement patio and steps to the lake.

INDOOR ENTERTAINMENT

We  have  You-Tube TV, HBO Max, Amazon and Netflix available to stream on our 50 inch smart HDTV , a smaller smart TV in the master bedroom with HBO Max, Amazon and Netflix, Nintendo Wii, board games, etc. For more diversions, Minocqua is around 10 minutes away, with many restaurants, food stores and Northwoods attractions to choose from.  We have DSL internet which works with streaming and multiple devices.

The Property

OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT

Our private wooded rental cabin property stretches 13 acres with the log house and lakefront comprising 2 acres. Well lighted and beautifully landscaped blue stone steps take you to a lake side deck, fire pit (for those s'mores) and spacious  aluminum dock with two built in swivel chairs and table for food/drink. There is electricity in the dock area should you need to plug in your boat battery. Our rental cabin has 160 feet of level frontage on Lake Shishebogama perfect for all kinds of water activities with a sandy area next to our dock suitable for wading, swimming and young children. The lake system totals close to 1000 acres for your swimming, fishing (musky, bass, walleye, pike) and boating enjoyment.   We provide a  14-foot aluminum rowboat, two kayask and a canoe for your use during your stay. An outdoor charcoal grill and grilling patio in the front of the rental home gives a convenient place to BBQ. The Public Boat Launch is located on Gunlock lack which is connected to our lake via a cut through.

Other cabin amenities:

Refrigerator with ice maker, kitchen has everything needed for cooking, coffee maker and filters, bed linens and bath towels are provided, full sized washer and dryer,  screened in porch, and front porch has a large wire dog crate. We do not provide beach towels. Please bring them if you want them at the cabin.

PLEASE NOTE:

We are a licensed establishment.  MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS 6 PERSONS.

  • Minimum age of cabin renters is 25 years old.

  • Dogs will be considered at the total discretion of the owner, but only one maximum and there is an extra charge for a dog of $200.00 per week for weekly rentals and prorated for less than weekly rentals. Dog fee is added to rent and is taxable. Please no puppies or aggressive breeds. No Cats or other pets will be permitted.

  • High season summer cabin rentals (June 15th through Labor Day) are from Saturday to Saturday only.

  • The rest of the cabin rental season has a three night minimum

  • There is a cleaning fee of $250.00 per rental added to the rental fee which is taxable
